Boxborough Town Meeting will be held on Monday, May 13. Doors open at 6:00 pm.
Town Meeting happens at the Blanchard Memorial School, 493 Massachusetts Avenue in Boxborough.
Unlike at Acton Town Meeting, where the town budget and the school district assessment are completely separate voting articles, at Boxborough Town Meeting the school district assessment is decided along with the rest of the Boxborough town budget in a single vote. The town budget will be listed Monday night as "Article 5." Please make sure you stay long enough to vote "yes" on the Boxborough town budget as a whole!
The Town Moderator runs the meeting and follows the agenda printed in the warrant, which was mailed to all Boxborough residents a few weeks ago.
Parking is available on the Blanchard campus. If and when space runs out, voters are also unofficially permitted to park at the Sargent Memorial Library, Boxborough Town Hall, and the United Church of Christ Boxborough.
Now that we've won the fight for school and community funding at the ballot AND at two different town meetings, we at Together for Acton want to take a moment to thank all of you for your engagement and support throughout this process. We're especially grateful for everyone who was out in the community with us holding signs, attending house parties, handing out flyers, knocking on doors, providing childcare, and making phone calls to support our schools and our town.
As we wind down our campaign, all of us here in Acton and Boxborough should be proud of what we've accomplished TOGETHER!
